Project Overview
When we started working on Pro Vape in October 2024, the website had almost zero organic traffic, and the targeted keywords had little to no meaningful visibility in Google search results.
The primary objective was to build strong organic visibility across New Zealand, with particular emphasis on local searches in Christchurch, Bishopdale, Riccarton, Rangiora, and Woolston, while also improving rankings for vape products, brands, pod systems, nicotine salts, and other relevant commercial searches.
Because the vape industry is highly competitive and has significant advertising restrictions, our strategy focused heavily on organic SEO and local search visibility as sustainable customer-acquisition channels.
SEO Results at a Glance
The campaign produced substantial improvements from the initial October 2024 baseline:
- 60 targeted keywords now rank within Google's Top 15

SEO Strategy Implemented
Our campaign focused on building both local relevance and product-level organic visibility. The strategy included technical and on-page SEO improvements, keyword mapping, location-focused optimization, product and category optimization, internal linking, content improvements, local search targeting, authority-building backlinks, competitor analysis, and ongoing ranking and performance monitoring.
Instead of targeting only broad national keywords, we developed keyword coverage around specific locations + products + brands + buyer-intent searches. This helped the website compete for searches with a stronger probability of converting into store visits or purchases.
From Almost Zero Visibility to 57 First-Page Rankings
The most important result of the campaign is the overall transformation in Google’s organic search presence.
